Small Groups

Grace offers several small groups who meet regularly to offer support, prayer, service, Bible study and times of fellowship.   Small groups are a great opportunity for you to get connected to our church and take your relationship with God to the next level! And when you get together with people and have fun, you’ll begin to grow into a strong community that serves and grows together.

Sunday Morning Small Group Bible Study

Looking for an opportunity to join a small group fellowship with a special emphasis on community, fellowship, Christian growth and in-depth Bible Study?

September - May

Sunday mornings beginning September, 2022 - during the hour following the 8:30 service (from 9:30 until 10:35)

Greetings From Kit and Caboodle:

Who’s that? What’s that?

Well, here at Grace we are a small group. We meet regularly each Sunday from September to May.  Our goal is to have fellowship, encourage each other and grow in our knowledge of God, His Word and His Son Jesus, to help us become mature and faithful, to learn who we are as His people and what we can do to help others become His people.  Each time we meet we catch up with friends and before we go we pray for each other.

Our Fall class will begin just after Labor Day on September 10th. Our study will be based on a book that we will all be reading “Defined” (Who God Says We Are), the book inspired by the Kendrick brothers movie “Overcomer”.  The study and the fellowship with other people who want to get to know you and God will lead us on an adventure.

We’d love to have you join us.  The class runs from September to May. We believe that you will fit right in with us and soon you’ll be referring to us as “Brother” and “Sister”!

Sisters of Grace

Sisters of Grace Invitation:

Several weeks ago Pastor Ken stated that the Discipleship Bible studies are not the only way at Grace to grow in the Word and to be in a community.  Sisters of Grace is a small group that ministers just to women.  It’s been around a while but not too many women of Grace know about it.

If you would like to get your feet wet and join a community of women who share a love for God, love the Bible and love friendship, it would be a joy and a blessing to have you join us.  We laugh together, we cry together, we pray together and we do a Bible study.

We will be starting a bible study on the book of James on September 1.  The book of James is a book about wisdom, offering practical advice about living a life that glorifies God through our trials.

We meet the first and third Wednesday of each month in the New Kirk room at 1 PM.

In order to know how many books need to be ordered, please let us know if you would like to join our group or if you have any questions.  I can be reached by text or cell at 724-322-4447.  Please leave a message, I will get back to you.

There are reminder bookmarks on the table in the Narthex.

We hope to see you!

Blessings, Kathy Parshall

Solo Seniors (Senior Outreach Living Optimistically)

Ruth Marier and Pat Mitchell lead this group for seniors who live alone.  They meet the second Tuesday each month from 11:00 to 2:00 in the Grace Cafe for a light lunch, friendship, fellowship, games and other activities.  Want to join them?   Please contact the office (724)-330-5350; office@gracecoalcenter.org.
